For newborn sessions, the sooner the better. But I understand how easy it is to leave this task until the last minute or think you don’t need a session, only to regret it down the track. Believe me, I know! I did it myself! It’s because of this, I’ll always try to fit you in… even if bub has already arrived.

I’m based in Doreen, located in Melbourne’s outer North East, so you’ll commonly find me in suburbs including Eltham, Yarrambat, Montmorency, Whittlesea, Mernda, Wollert, South Morang, Hurstbridge, Diamond Creek, Greensborough and Lower Plenty… just to name a few. However, I travel all over Melbourne and surrounding towns. You may receive a small fee if I’m travelling beyond an hour from Doreen.

For newborns, it’s a no brainer - we do it at your home. It’s a lot more comfortable for bub with a controlled temp, no wind and a comfy place to sleep.
With any other session, it's up to you. All collections varying in length so it's deciding what look you're after and what location would best work for your kids for that length of time. And if you can't decide, I suggest The Narrative collection as you can capture a bit of everything!

We can make anything during daylight hours for outdoor session. But if you're wanting the most beautiful, flattering light, you can't go past Golden Hour. It’s just after sunrise or just before sunset. The light is just so magical… all soft and glowy. However, if we're capturing your everyday adventures, then any time of day works and we use the natural light given to us.
For in-home family sessions, any time with enough daylight works but I find mid morning works best. This is when the light is pretty even across most homes and when the kids are usually at their happiest. 

I have a range of packages with different time frames, from a half hour to a longer, 3 hour session. This allows you to choose what works best for your family.

Absolutely! It makes me sad to think we don’t even consider documenting our kids with a photographer beyond the early years. So 1000x yes! Teenagers, adulthood, even when you get that pensioner card!

Either the night before or the morning of your session, we’ll make a final call on whether we move forward with an outdoor session. If it’s raining or there are gusty winds, then we postpone or we can go to your home earlier in the day instead. 
The beauty of in-home sessions - no weather issues. Doesn't matter if it's overcast or raining. I'll always find light. 

I want you to be comfortable and dress as you usually would so there isn’t a lot that I would say to avoid. However, I understand that making these choices can be overwhelming, particularly if you’re after a look that’s a little more balanced that the usual chuck-on-what-you-can-find outfit. So when you book with me, you’ll receive a session guide that has a whole section on what to wear, eliminating the decision paralysis. 

I certainly do! There's nothing quite like holding a photograph in your hands or seeing your kids look at themselves proudly framed on your wall. They create a visual legacy that won't get lost on your phone or computer. I use the best photographic labs around to provide you with long lasting prints and beautiful keepsakes. In fact, if you upgrade your collection with me, you get print credit for my shop!
Whichever way you choose to print, all I ask is for you to choose a high quality lab. It makes all the difference. 

Sure do! You can select any of the collections with no limitations on how many family members come along. However, if you're wanting lots of images with ALL the combinations, even some little mini family sessions amongst the whole gang, then we'll need more time. The Story or Narrative packages are your best choice.
